Every piece from Gentle Grain Workshop starts with your vision. Whether you need a custom bar, a live-edge table, a memorial piece, or a cutting board built to exact dimensions — I build it from scratch, to order.
Custom Furniture & Commissions
Bars, live-edge tables, shelving, benches, memorial pieces — if you can describe it, I can build it. Every commission is one-of-a-kind, built to your dimensions, wood species, and finish.
Furniture commissions are quoted individually based on size, materials, and complexity — reach out with what you have in mind and I’ll follow up with a quote.
How It Works
- Tell me what you’re looking for — wood species, size, add-ons, and any details. Use the contact form or call/text directly.
- I’ll reach out within 2–3 business days with a quote and any follow-up questions.
- Once you approve the quote, a 50% deposit holds your spot in the build queue.
- Your piece ships when complete. Cutting boards and serving trays typically take 2–4 weeks from the start of the build. Custom furniture is built to fit, so its timeline is set per piece and included in your quote.

Available Add-Ons
- Laser Engraving — custom text, monograms, or logos burned into the wood. Perfect for gifts and personalization (+$10–25 depending on design and complexity).
- Juice Groove — a routed channel around the perimeter to catch juices (+$10).
- Rubber Feet — non-slip silicone feet on the bottom (+$5).
- Handle Slots — routed grip slots on the sides for easy lifting.
